Was wondering if there is a way around hypertech's so called VIN specific protection they put in the computer. What happens if I total a truck and buy another just like it? Hypertech rep tells mee I have a 300$ paper weight.

 

Better include it on your insurance as an add-on then if you don't want to pay $300 in that event!

 

its their way of insuring that ppl dont share the unit with everyone, instead of buying them fawkers
