so.. bought it about 8 months ago, realized it had tow package. what did they upgrade with it? it's a 96 ram 1500

also, what kinda tranny does it have.. (it's a 4 speed auto)

and what gears does it most likely have?

It has 3:55 gears if it's not an offroad edition, the tranny is a 46re, and the tow package just has the hitch and they add a factory tranny cooler that is fine if you don't do much towing.

 

as the gears go

open up the hood and look up behind the grill,,, it will tell you your gear

nope still has the od button.. mine is a 97 sport with tow package only od button
