headlight problems

Default headlight problems

i have been deplyed for almost a year now and i am going home to a truck that was running fine when i left i thought, but since then i have had 2 batterys trashed and high beams that wont turn off when low beams are switched on i havent been able to look at the truck due to me being 8000 miles away. i was told there might be a short in the steering column any ideas?

All the wiring should be traced and checked first. After that I'd say the multi function switch is bad. You can get a Haynes manual or download the FSM for electrical schematics. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html

so I have been Talking with my wife she has been driving the truck for the last week and half moving she said the high beams will only come on a second and then click back to low beams nut the indicating icon remains on high when ever the lights are on period. as with that she also has been having problems with the drivers side head light turning on and off i think that is a loose connection drive rough road and it comes back on thanks i appreciate all the help

Could be the multi function switch or maybe a bad ground. Bad grounds due weird things.
