I was in need of a full sized 4x4 pick up and searched for a long time for an f150 or ram 1500 and finally bought my ram a couple of months ago. I know I got what I consider a great deal, just want to compare.

Mine is a 97 reg cab long bed 5.9 slt laramie 4x4 with 100k. Exterior is good, interior is mint. The guy was originally asking $3400, and I ended up getting it for $2400.

Mine is a 1996 Ram 1500 SLT Extended Cab Short Bed 4X4 with a 5.2 V8. I got it for $3,600 in April of this year.

My last Ram was the same as above except a 2X4. Got it for $21,000 in December of '95. Had it for the course of it's life, 245,000 miles.

i paid $1800 for mine. 95 1500 SLT Laramine 5.9 186K Came with the toolbox. chrome bed rails. Nerf bars. New tranny. new radiator, 4.10 gears. Cd player, new black powder coated rims, with new 265/75/16 tires. Runs and shifts excellent. exterior needs rockers, bottom of doors rusted. im gunna get new doors. Interior excellent. No cracks in dash.

 

Paid $8k in March.

no mud under truck not receiver hitch never hauled or pulled anything. added receiver hitch, tool box, redid exhaust, nerf bars, rims and tires, 5in lift, torque converter 10x2 air cleaner, tint.
