Why are people being cruel? Wishing someone to get a ticket for what you don't like shouldn't posted on a forum in which we are here to help each other.

Just remember we are here to help...not wish for bad luck upon someone.

I'm a vindictive bastard, and if I do run off the road round where I live, I am going into a 6 to 8 foot irrigation ditch.

Agreed, +1 Timidone.

If done properly, HIDs in reflector style housings will work just fine. Like I've stated before, Toyota and Honda have done it for a while in some of their cars. Projectors would be better overall for the light output and oncoming traffic, however, its tough to find a good aftermarket projector for our trucks, let alone one for a Sport model.

When it comes to HIDs, always get a 35w kit. Unless you're putting them in off-road lights, never get over that, otherwise its the equivalent of you driving around with your high beams on plus some. Guaranteed ticket and/or angry road-rage drivers around you.

Yeah exactily jasonw i got the 35w set and its hard to find aftermarket lights for a sport model, and why would they sell the lights or have vehicles come stock with them if there gonna hand out tickets for the lights, ill gladly put projectors on my truck if you wanna pay for them but your gonna have to do it for a lot of people if you dont want to get blinded

Kinda hard not to be blinded by them when you are on a dark two lane road surrounded by sod and strawberry farms.

It is not eh vehicles that come stock with them that blind me, it is the jack holes that put them in them selves and don't know how to aim head lights like that. And the people that put them in lifted trucks that don't know that they need to aim the head lights down.

I don't even drive my Cavalier at night due to people like that.

yeah but if you put them in stock headlights that have been on the truck since new you dont need to aim them cuz they will already be aimed right. and if your trucks lifted you still wanna see whats in front of you not just 10 feet away so you need the light beam to be down more.
