sorry about double post it never redirected me and i pressed it again.

Yeah. i mostly want it a mud truck and ride is no big deal. lift is very very stiff as it is, never though a simple 5 inch lift would make it so bad.

No i dont think im going rockwells just dana 60 70 combo. I was going to do a 12 inch lift kit but when you get that high pricing would just be dumb.(rockwells, tires, steering, suspension, motor, tranny,+, +, +, +.)

Probably put 5.5 inch blocks in the rear(got 4 inch now) then a 2 inch coil spacer. then i have a 3 inch body lift ready to go on. 40 inch tires should fit nicely

almost got some 37x13.5 x 16 pitbulls about 3 months ago. but price wasnt right from the owner(brand new no rims 1500 for 4)( online with shipping it cost around 1200)

what is the difference between the tsl tires and the ltb tires.

Are the TSLs better in mud cuz the LTBs are cheaper in price.

LTBs are a 40x16x16 for around 300 each

TSLs are a 39.5x15x16.5 for 330 each (no 16 inch rim)

So i could use the rims i have and have 40s for cheaper

I would stick with a 16" rim more tire size choice.

TSL's are probably the best all around offroad tire ever made.
If you're just gonna be slugging through straight mud boggers would be better, but TSLs will still tear up the mud.

LTBs aren't that much different from TSLs actually I think they're a little tougher. Bigger lugs if I recall correctly. You can't really go wrong with those either. TSL SX's are a pretty rugged too, but I'm not sure how many sizes you're going to get those it for 16 inch wheels.

LTBs look like your best bet.

I'm running 38x14.50x15 TSL SX's on my '89 ...awesome all around tires. If you're looking to run big time mud I'd recommend TSL's up front and Boggers in the back, just have to find a size that matches. I'm torn between 42x15.50 TSL's all around or 44 TSLs front and Boggers out back... Like I said you can't go wrong with swampers. If you're looking to save some money check out Ground Hawgs, they're big and cheap.

you wont be able to use a 16inch wide tire on a stock 16x7 rim, i hope you have like a 16x12 rim or something aroudn there. but i think thats even pushing it.
