Default Hitch compatibility

alright dont make fun of me if this is stupid

some guy is offering to sell me a class 3 hitch for $25. it came off of a ram van. my question is, will it fit my 2nd gen ram?

the guy said something about running the numbers by a dealer for me. hope it workes out, i really need one. my bumper is to high and the back of the trailer scraps so i cant even go over a curb with it, which i have to ofter. curse dodge's amazing stock clearence lol

Nope. Ram vans were built on a unibody frame. They were never even based on the Ram truck.

get some lift blocks for your trailer.

I want to put like 33s under a snowmobile trailer. dont know if i will but i really want to. id need to use one that has a slid out ramp cuz a tilt bed wouldnt work

if my neighbor still lived next door i could have got you on of these for 10 bucks. but here is one, not sure if it works for the dodge bumper i just picked the first one searched on google

bolts to the holes used for the hitch ball on the bumper then you can put a two inch receiver hitch. our bumpers are rated for 10,000 lbs so small trailers are no problem

you know i've thought about those, just didn't know what to call it. but how do i know it goes for my (our) truck? and as far as weight i dont pull much, just need the clearence. biggest thing is a my boat.
