brake light and cruise control

Default brake light and cruise control

2 issues first the center red brake light comes on after driving above 20 miles an hour, second cant find were the fuse or fuses are for the cruise control, the cruise light does not come on in the dash, assuming it is a fuse or relay. 1999 2500 4x4 5.9 ltr

Could be a number of things, but the CC is controlled by vacuum (so no relay or fuse IIRC). So check all the vac lines, and under the battery tray is the one(s) for the CC. The CC module/servo is under the tray too, so check for cracks in the housing. Also the brake light switch on the brake pedal can be an issue as can the wires being broken in the steering column, especially if you have a tilt wheel.
