Default sneaky oil galley plugs

so as some of you may remeber i rebuilt a 5.2 for my ram and have been having oil psi problems. after getting the wrong bearings from my machine shop i got the right ones for my c-rods. but that didnt fix my prob. now after pulling the motor out again and ripping it apart again i notice a galley plug missing after i pulled the distributor. i think that is alson the cause of my lifters on the drivers side to be drier than a popcorn fart. so tomorrow me and the machine shop are going to have words and i think i deserve some of my money back for the simple fact they didnt screw up once but twice with the same damn engine. and in case you were wondering it was a napa. on a lighter note does anyone now of any other galley plugs that may be hiding inside the block? any behind the timing cover?

Sounds like a good machine shop to stay away from.

not to sure how to put pics on here but this is a plug that only a surgen could put in without pulling motor. but if you pull the distributor and look towards the front of the engine you will see either a threaded hole or a plug in it. should be a plug but in my case i have retarded machinists i guess. i do have a pic but as i said not sure how to get it on here

thank you clearing that up for me.

and i did see that when i did my plenum i believe not sure tho...pic is kinda blurry on my end. So not having this would it make it leak, cuasing your "dry side" right?

Sorry for leading away from your OQ. just love learning new things about mechanics

Unless you removed your distributor when you did the plenum, you are not going to see it. The holes are there mainly for casting purposes, so then they have to be plugged.
