ive been running royal purple synthetic 75w-90 in my nv3500. i just found out thast bad. its been in there for a litlle over 10,000 miles. am i screwed? and also i cant find the mopar 4761526 fluid they recommend for sale. any body know of the equivalents?
The tranny was bad in my truck when I bought it, I think it was more than a coincidence that it had gear oil in it.
A lot of people are ignorant about manual tranny fluid. The same mistake happens with the M5OD found in Ranger based vehicles, they take Mercon ATF and people constantly fill them with gear oil.

I was using Redline (A very good oil) MTL which is a syncrhomesh replacement and the Pennzoil shifts better FWIW.
