3 hours of work and pitman arm still wont come off

Probably safe to assume that, 10 days later, he has it off.

yes i do. i got it off yesterday actually.

used some extreme torque. I put my wrench on the puller and i pushed with my legs and smashed it with my hammer and finally it came off.

Second problem i had was getting the dang tie rod end off. it was stuck on there and i couldnt really hit it with a hammer cuz there was no room. and the pitman arm puller was to big to fit around the pitman arm so i finally used my bench vise to heat and bend it together and got it off


Then i couldnt get the dang bolt off the tie rod to rotate it. i used a wrench and socket and finally i just cut the dang thing with a grinder.

I have found that, usually, when you are just about to give up and take one big pissed off last swing, thats the one that gets it.

yeah me to. i actually gave up twice yesterday but i was far into it i just came back to it.
