Default Has anyone painted their stock rims and it lasted?

I have seen some threads here and elsewhere on painting stock rims,
My question is how well does this last without chipping/ flaking?

Engine paint and wheel clear coat. I'm going to redo them soon because I didn't finish them as smoothly as I would like, but the paint has held up well so far and I painted them back in July.
