Default Throttle body bolts right down to intake manifold correct?

So ordered fastmans and an edelbrock air gap intake manifold but i just found out that the bolts dont line up. not even close.

The Throttle body bolts right down on it correct.

My intake manifold is a non egr. i was told it was non egr by someone on here but dont remember who.

The intake manifold is for a 5.2/5.9L V8 magnum so it should work correct. I looked and it seems like it has all hose and all that hook ups so WTF?

Did you order the FI version of the airgap? There is a difference, besides the 2-300 dollar price difference. The "cheaper" airgap is set up for a regular 4 barrel carb, not a throttle body. Easy way to tell is if it has the bosses for the injectors or not. A Fastman TB is basically a reworked factory unit,(hence the core charge, and requires send you TB to him). So I don't think the TB is the problem.

Yeah good thing for return policy. The intake you have now will bolt right on to the engine. Easy way to make sure your getting the right one is the price, an FI one is around 500-600 bucks. The folks who told you it would work weren't wrong, just didn't point out a difference in them.

yes i looked into it and i dont know how i didnt notice it wasnt a Fuel injected one.

I emailed Jegs due to there return policy says i need the invoice or i will not be able to return it. Problem being is when i received my boxes it had not a single invoice on it. looked everywhere but to no avail.

Im going to order a hughes FI airgap once the money goes back into my account. It is quite a big price difference but it comes with everything you need so ill pick one up

misread on all three posts? Post one says right in the description it is for a carb setup. Post two said for carb setup, and post three was sarcastic, but was inplied that it would not work without modification. No offense OP, but if that is the thread you are refering too that people said it would work.... I think ... ill just stop there

what i was reading in that post was that you could run a carb, if you wanted to. i just now noticed that it says you need to run a carb.

But all said and done i looked it up and blah blah blah and i dont know how i missed that its a carb setup only. I never even looked for injector holes. I was just to excited or something and i must have just wanted to get it ordered.

But i will now be ordering the FI airgap thats for sure.
