Default 1.7 Roller Rockers

ok i am looking into the 1.7 upgrade, but have a quick couple questions

#1 is this the kind that everyone usually goes with?

Says shims are not included, do i need to get shims?


and im unable to acess the DIY keeps saying the link is "broken" so if anyone has the write up please share.

but looking at the Haynes, it looks pretty staright forward

360, go right to here... www.harlandsharp.com. Much better source for the RR's. IIRC correct Summit is selling them, so why deal with a middle man? Plus they have real good tech support,and can answer all your questions.

awesome...i see theres a 75 dollar rebate going on as well...and do these come with the shims, and do i need them?

but i would do what metal said

no shims needed its easy as cake, if you can take valve covers off and do simple bolt work, its easy as pie anyone can do it http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech-article-32.html

1.7 harland sharps are one of the few mods i would do again. there is gains that can be felt. just remember it takes a couple hundred miles for all the gains to be felt.

i know super wried,,i saw a 3rd with a set of wheels that made me think talon6 and think damn he hasnt been on in a while,,,he must be bussy striping,,lol

Ummm,I might be wrong but that rebate looks like you have to send them your AFTERMARKET rocker arms to get it.Wouldnt that be counterproductive?

Looks like he's right.

1. Harland Sharp must receive completed form (below) and your complete set of trade in aftermarket
roller rocker arms by 12/31/2009.
