Need Rear Door Linkage Rod Retainer Clips For Quad Cab
Hello everyone, just purchased a '99 Ram 1500 4x4 SLT Laramie Quad Cab w/ 360.
I have looked everywhere (even used the search button on this site) and still can find what im looking for.
I need some linkage rod retainer clips for both of the rear-doors of my quad cab. I am unable to open the doors from either inside or outside door handles. I have to take off the rear door panel and pull the linkage rods to get the doors open.
Does anyone know a site that sells these or a fix? (doesnt seem like a very good design) The closest Chrysler dealer to me is about 50 miles away so hopefully I can find some online.
Thanks

are u sure its the linkage rod clips i had same prob but the bad thing was the lower latch was froze. i ended up having a buddy hold the handle while i mule kicked the sob from inside the truck. then when i removed the inside panel after i got door open i broken the cable for the inside handle and cant seem to locate them other then the dealer

Ive looked everywhere online for the rod clips and ive looked for people that have the same problem as me and cant find anything. Hopefully I dont have to drive 50 miles to the dealer just to get the clips.
The latches arent frozen on mine, I can pull up on the lower rod and down on the upper rod from the inside of the doors and the doors will open easily.
