Like what's happening to me tomorrow isn't bad enough! LOL

This is what happens when two steel brake lines blow at once.

My daughter was driving and we went to get dog food and beer, got the dog food ,went across the street for the beer. When I got back in the truck, she said the brake pedal felt strange. I got out and went around to driver side to look and the floor mat was wedged up on top of the pedal. I pulled the floor mat up and the pedal came back up. So I said try it now, I meant the brake pedal, but she put it in reverse (truck was idling in park). I was standing at the door when it started rolling and was telling her to hit the E brake, but she never drives it and couldn't find it(all her cars have the handle between the seats), I tried to get to it, but the truck had too much momentum and the door hit me, rolled me across the road (main highway at 4:30 pm)as the truck went over and into a drainage ditch about 8 feet below the road.

that totally sucks man....look at the positive!! at least nothing hit the truck with your daughter in it while rolling across the road!

I had that happen to me and my dad on the way to deercamp.....the brakes in my jeep went and pedal went right to the floor while coasting through a major intersection at the bottom of a hil!.....totally sucked my emergancy brake was worn out of adjustment from using it so much (it was a stick)

Looks like the frame is bent where the cab and bed are. Sorry about your loss!

Time to part it out!!! If the price is right, I'll take the Harland Sharps and your Thuren track bar off your hands!!!

My daughter has 5 staples in the back of her head from hitting the seat belt loop bracket, Besides that, we are both real sore. I have collision on it(which I thought I cancelled that part of couple years ago) Insurance company was here already, and I'll know later today what they want to do. Either way I'll buy it back, because I have no time left to be able to take off the stuff I want from it. So I was thinking maybe get another one for cheap with a blown engine or something . I just had my tailgate and doors fixed because of rust, so I don't care if the doors are even rotted on the replacement truck.

And it looks like the line above the gas tank and the line going to the driver side front blew. Thing that sucks is, that after I recover and have a new damn foot, the brake lines and rusty fuel rails where next on my list. LOL
