Im looking to get a new intake manifold and wanted to know which ones have worked for you and what you recommend, and I am aware that I can modify my stock one but dont feel like doing it, plus hoping to get rid of the stupid keg intake.

if you feel obliged to buy a new one...the airgap is popular.

other than the plenum...what is your issue with the kegger?

i just bought a new kegger and im doing the keggermod. this is something you can do if your on a budget. which is why i did it this way instead of airgap. just get the hughes plenum reienforcment kit when you do though so you'll never hav to worry about the plenum blowing out again.

but if you do want real performance and have the money go wih the airgap. the airgap totally eliminates the plenum. but run about 400-500 bucks

F1 or M1 will give similar results (according to dyno's by Marty @ KRC). Cost wise, you can find used M1/2BBL for reasonable price compared to the F1 which will have to be purchased new. Shouldnt really swap intakes unless adding a decent cam & heads IMHO. Dont go for an M1/4BBL unless you will be doing major performance upgrades (blown stroker).
Kegger mod, gives minor results and you still have plenum gasket that can leak. $86 for the Hughes plenum kit plus gaskets & your time.

Nothing is wrong with the kegger it just takes up so much room, and will have the money soon working on it now when the plenum goes which I know it will I would like to spend the money getting a new intake instead of just fixing the old one, after the end of college will eventually rebuild motor and could be something I could reuse.
Also were do you recommend to buy the intake from.
