mine bolted on, and it was a dream install. everything dropped right in. but i did have to do some custom fabrication on the mounts they gave me for the fuel rails, so they wouldnt be so bound up. but only some slight tweaking. other than that it was sweet.

I'm anxious to hear how much improvement you get from it. I had a feeling you would end up doing this since it wasn't done during the initial build, but I didn't think it would be this soon. Actually, I'm happy you did it this way. Now we can specifically see how much difference it makes on that monster engine you built. I bet you're as excited as a kid at Christmas right now! :-)

I just got that manifold! I put it on pretty easily. Like millertime, o had to bend the fuel tail brackets so that it would fit correctly. The biggest problem I was having was that quite a few things broke on me. Of course, none of this had to do with the new manifold. My truck runs beautifully now, and the PCM still is learning the new manifold! I wonder how much better it will be after it has fully learned it!

jbomb,

Can you tell me exactly what you have in your truck?
TB, intake manifold, heads, cam, rocker arms, headers (please tell me you're running true duals with a 408), exhaust, etc.
