custom grille project
I layed out where I wanted the wires (I painted them silver first) and marked their location. I cut thin steel wire into 2" pieces and bent them into "U". I used body filler to attach these where I marked the wire locations with the open end of the U up. I placed the barbed wire into these and then put 1/4" steel screen which I painted black over the barb wire and then twisted the "U"s of wire to hold it all together. There are 10 pieces of barb wire, they are cut in the center to clear the support. the barbs are staggered and I made sure that there is no barb where the hood release is.
I can take photo of the back side tomorrow if you want.
