Default Shackle drop or block?

I need to lift the back of my truck a little bit, because my new front spindles have the front of the truck sitting too high for my liking. I'm trying to decide between the following two products.

Block Lift:
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...85c7ab9e&gan=1

Shackles:
http://app.infopia.com/Shop/Control/...747/rid/127794

I'm leaning more towards the shackle's because I'm not too into blocks, however my only concern is with the position of the axle. Will the axle move forward a little bit? And if so how do I compensate for this? I've read about re-centering shims or something like that, but idk where to buy them and how big to buy.

Any help would be bigtime appreciated.

if the shackles do move it at all, it would be a negligible amount....i have 2" drop shackles on mine with no noticeable difference.......if you have a welder, you can save some cash and chop yours if you wanted to

You have 2 inch drop and it barely moved? That's fantastic news! Either way I'd rather not chop my factory ones.

You just made my day.

why not get an add a leaf? it would give you the 2" and it'll reduce rear end sag when you have the bed loaded.

Because when I land the back of the truck will spring up like an explosion. Plus I hate how they look.

Just a little fun in the dirt from time to time. I have friends that race, but I like to go play around in the dirt this time of year. An Add-a-tension will hinder that.
