Now you need to fix the plenum. Don't install a new cat, without fixing it.

yeah i got all parts i swapped out, she needed a good tune-up anyway....and i need coil for my wifes jeep with 318, so i'll just put one i took off onto it, looks the same....she wont know difference.

the plenum? you mean replace gasket? did that already about 6 months ago.

You replaced the plate as well with a Hughes or APS right? If you didn't, the gasket replacement only will blow again.

no all i did was replace gasket, where would be cheapest place to find plate?

I might go "the extra step" by removing the center divider plate from my intake and then having the replacement aluminum pan welded to the intake. No more gasket worries.
