Do you use the ATF +4 in the 241 transfer case ? It is a Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins, 4 X 4.

with 7.25 inch ring gear, 3/4 inch (17mm);
with Dana 44, 1/4 inch (6mm);
with Dana 60, 1/2 inch (12mm). REAR:
with 7.25 inch ring gear, 1/2 inch (12mm);
with 8.25 inch ring gear, 1/4 inch (6mm);
W/ 9.25 inch ring gear, 5/8 inch (15mm);
With Dana, 3/4 inch (17mm).

 

yea, just ATF + 4, it's what i have in my case, and the 241 ain't much different, except bigger

 

Yeah, use ATF+4.

And the reason for that is, if the seal(s) between the transmission and transfer case start to leak, the transmission fluid wouldnt become contaminated with a different fluid.

Change the Transfer Case fluid every time you change the Transmission fluid.

 

The previous spec, ATF+3, is compatible with ATF+4.

This is a question that could have easily been answered by doing a search.
