Maybe gasoline, but do it in a spot you can live with the potential damage first, and wash the **** out of it after you're done.

I like to use brake fluid and let it soak over night on my car!! J/K I agree with the rubbing compound or even some lacquer thinner it shouldnt hurt ur paint as long as you dont wipe in one spot for 2 hours and it should be quick to remove the splatter if its semi fresh. Thats what ive used in my past experience with fresh stripes

i forgot to mention, brake cleaner does an excellent job of getting crap off too, used it on my truck with no negative effects, cant promise anything tho
