I think the useless TB spacer I have here could help you out. There is a smaller cut out for the IAC passage and with it between your TB and intake adapter the problem will be solved.
So if you want you can ship it to me and I'll see if it works, but you would have to send the intake also just to be sure.
I can send you the spacer for the shipping of $4 or $5

That definitely doesn't look like the adapter plate I got from them.

Did you try a TB gasket? There is a gasket that goes there. I didn't see it in your photo.

If that don't work call Hughes and make them replace that adapter plate. And don't take **** from them either, they can be pushy little bastards at times.

I remember ordering a O2 sensor from them and I told them specifically that it was the square plugfrom the 02 model. They sent me a round plug, and when I called to get the right part, they told me to cut the pig tail off and splice the old pigtail on. I told them to send me the correct one that I asked for.

The other option would be to have a small piece of aluminum welded on to the back of that adapter and then planed flat with the rest of the deck. I can't imagine it would cost that much.

Here's a pic of my adapter, you can see where mine is different (BTW I got this from Hughes):

Here's an option if Hughes won't help.

I believe there are two tall mounting posts on it that could be ground down and the adapter used. Call Mancini before you order.

called hughes and he stoped and measured one of his and he had only .040 clearence and had .040 of wiggle room. He said that I could send him mine and he would weld it and mill it flat. i asked if he could do that tho one on the shelf and send it to me overnight and I will send mine to him the same to eliminate any down time. He said that he would and whould have to split the shipping cost with me- blow me dude. Then he told me that he would have to charge me and refund me the cost when he gets mine- suck my ***! Thats the best he would doafter I spent 600 with them and had my truck laid up and had a mechanic look at it with me. but I have no choice.

did it mess with your truck at all or did it run fine?

I have that same adapter and i just got mine on Thursday. I planned on installing it on saturday but work got in the way.

Id like to install it this week friday if i dont work on saturday(never find out til the last min) but if its going to make my truck run like poop then i wont. if it is just a whistle then its no big deal.

Both examples do not make me want to order anything from Hughes. Of all the companies that I can spend my hard earned money at..I expect to at least have good customer service in the situation that something did go wrong.

I've heard a lot of good things about them, but that was a turn-off, IMO, anyways.

Sorry to thread-jack.
