VEETEN is correct. The axle nut is torqued to 175 ft.lbs. for pre 2000's, and 180 for 2000 up. Its the bolts that secure the bearing to the knuckle that are only 122-125 ft.lbs.

And the torque IS critical, as too much or not enough will cause pre-mature failure. I recommend torquing it down, and if the cotter pin wont go through, then break off the tab's in the way.

ok i just told my dad, he is going to go back trough them and keep torquing them,, jsut seems like alot of torque for a bearing... bt if that is what tis supposed to be... i really hope thats not to much and burns them out... thats all

I got the special D60 I guess That was the price WITH the hub bolts though, which from a dealer the 4 bolts alone were 38 bucks for the four that I just put in (they had to be ordered from dodge too, no one around had them....
I've been joking since I joined this forum that I got the limited edition special truck.....LOL.
rock auto had them for like $320 I don't wanna know what the dealer want's for them.....

lol... well, i can see why with the bolts and everything, bt you need to look into an online store... you can find them for like 260, 280... and they come right to your door.. lol, but anyway.. is that what yoru hubs are tighten to there veeten? 180? seeing as how it seems youve replaced t least one...

I found that L3 and L4 pop right around 180ft lbs.....HEH HEH HEH
