Those would work if they are for your starter. The plunger does not wear much. The plunger hits the contacts to make the electrical connection. After time, the copper contacts just wear away.

Just make sure that you check to make sure it is the solenoid problem. Start with a good battery and clean tight cables. If it just clicks, it is problably the solenoid.

You can try jumping the starter. Just make a connection between the large terminal that connects the red battery cable and the small terminal on the solenoid. This feeds the solenoid, the plunger should pull to make the contact. You may hear it click or it could crank the engine.

Just be clear of moving engine parts if you try this. Having someone behind the wheel would be good safety wise. Use a heavy wire to connect the two terminals. Some use a screwdriver. It may spark a little. Don't hold the contact too long. You just want to confirm starter operation.
