Default remove rear end gears

so iam removin my rear end 01 1500 cause my bearings are bad and also one clutch disc is broken i cant get the ring and pinoin out do i need a tool for this? also i can i just buy the disc and bearings at a local parts store like checker autozone? and any info that could help to reinstall thanks guys

If you have to ask you should really have a professional do this. Gears are sensitive and need to be properly setup by someone who knows what they are doing and require a few special tools

i believe you need a special tool to compress the clutches. as for the gears not coming out, you have to pull your axles out to let the spider gears free to pull the differential out.
