Great job on the tiregate. So good in fact that you inspired me to make my own! I just finished it up. All together I have about $125 into mine and roughly 8 hrs building it. I did learn though that i desperately need a tubing notcher. Notching tubes with a cut off wheel, while effective takes a long time to get everything to fit up good. sorry for the small pics, they are from a cell phone.

Excuse my ignorance but what are the things called that actually rotate the tailgate? I get how it is attatched, a plate with 4 tabs but whats inbetween the tabs? My uncle just told me his shop could fab it up for me for free... Gonna try to take advantage of that offer.
