Post Ram bumpers

What you all think of keeping this thread alive for craiglist postings we see that another 2nd Gen Dodge Ram owners might be interested? Sticky? Or is that against the rules of the forums? (if it is please delete this post)

Well anyway..saw this listing for a heavy bumper, lights and 8000lb winch...I can't afford it but maybe someone out there can or whatever.

i have a new heavy duty winch mount bumper made by beast bumpers it will fit 95 to 2000 dodge . has 2 new lights with wiring kit and 2 used lights and a new 8000 lbs.

smitty built winch. this is a 3/16 plate bumper . a roadarmer and other plate bumers will cost you $1500 and up and thats just a plane bumper . im selling my bumper with

new lights and a new 8000lbs winch for $1500 and thats installed call ken 1-541-747-8782 or cell 1-541-606-4231
So is this a bumper removed from an airplane and modified to fit the Dodge? What is a "plate bumer"?

Hell, I put up with enough circus freaks e-mailing me locally. I wouldn't even consider anything national because, as noted above, most sellers aren't the brightest peanut in the turd.

plane bumper normaly means no grille guard, light mounts or things like that but that is one ugly bumper, between the portion under the grille, and the headlight guards, it doesnt even look like it is for that truck

I was kinda thinkin the same thing... I dont understand the dip in the bumper where the stock grill is at. I would think that would go straight across. But then again I haven't really looked at a winch bumper up close. I kinda don't like the tubing either the way it is bent (maybe that is what you were refering too by not for the truck). If anything I would keep the bar going across to mount the lights on (like pre-runner style), and remove the center bar between the lights, and all of the sides. I think that would clean up the look a bit. Here's you a bumper max :P
