nope, it was owned by a little old man first (only put about 30,000 on it)
the second owner, it was his first truck (he was home schooled and only drove it to work at the elevator in town for a couple year)
i'm the third owner (had 67,000 on it when i purchased it 3 years ago)
since the end of august, ive put a little over 5,000 on it

other than the tranny, but that's a given, it was done at about 50 or so, i think, also i realized when it was rebuilt, the check valve was deleted, i noticed when i went to check the oil one time)

but the ol' 318 is still runnin' like a bat outta hell (just gotta find my coolant leak (timing cover i think) and do the plenum (both this winter break)

That's odd that the tranny was redone at 50k when the truck itself (seemed) to be driven very lightly.

I bought my 96 this summer with 106K on it from a local college maintenance department. They said the tranny had been rebuilt. Someday I want to deserve a nick like Halfamil

the first owner drove lightly i imagine, the second guy, it was his first vehicle and a farm truck at that, it was driven hard

i drive it even harder, pull loads (didn't have a hitch when i bought it, does now) and wheel it occasionally
