yeah that is a little expensive. right now ive got fiberglass patches on the bottom and spray fiberglass on the sides i wanted to get all that out cause there is bubbles in it and i think it might be rusting under. but Ive got a red truck with a gloss black diamond plate box I love cause then i dont have to leave anything in the bed or in the back seat. its great just make sure to lock it. I just finished at Wyotech Daytona for Harleys and someone stole over 1000 dollars worth of tools out of mine, while it was parked in the lot at my townhouse.

****ty, that sucks man. Yeah I make sure everythings locked . Its nice having it, it beats putting everthing behind the seats. that tonneau cover's a pain in the *** the locks on top and snow freezes in it. ugh. I've had the tool box for like 2-3day and it's awesome.

Agreed, I am thinking about buying a regular used diamond plate tool box for cheap and either PCing it, or painting it black. Haven't decided yet, but the black diamond plate does look awesome.

Yeah. The truck I almost bought (ironically, other than 3 years newer looked IDENTICAL to mine, except that one had a black toolbox on it and the one I got didn't come with one. So I stuck one of our old ones on it.

I thought about just rattle-canning it since it'd be a lot cheaper than getting it PC'ed, but I would rather see someones who has done it before I go doing that. Don't want it look bad.

Edit: The one I was gonna buy had cab lights..I wish I had cab lights lol

Bunch of crap in the cab plus the crappy plastic toolbox in the bed. Thats where he keeps all the tools for work. And the security system for the plastic toolbox, a bungee cord! Come to think of it, now I know what to get him for christmas! Diamond plate toolbox, with a lock!!!!
