Default New rebuilt tranny

I have a 1999 Ram 1500 5.2l. I am almost positive it is the 46RE tranny. She is starting to slip and I am just going to buy a rebuilt tranny. I want to know who online you guys can recommend, K&M, Summit and so on. The dealer wants over 2K for the same thing that's in there which only made it to 157,000. I want something a little better. She is my daily driver (about 50+ miles a day/6 days a week) so I really don't need a high performance tranny but better than factory. Any suggestions are REALLY appreciated.
Had her in the garage last Feb. when 1st gear went and reverse whines. Mechanic replaced a strut and a snapped band. I don't want to piece by piece this thing, just drop it and replace it with a better one. Hubby can do that but he will NOT rebuild an automatic.
Thanks ahead of time...

this place has mixed reviews as great product, sort of pricey, sometimes slow to ship. double check their shipping time before signing up.

also dr. evil

reman transmissions are not listed on autozone or advance web sites, but they can get them. i've always like their warranties and the price is right, but you're on your own for help/support.

this never gets any attention, but i'd trust anything associated with Fastmann.

i don't know where your located, but personally i'd locate/contact formerly very active forum member MonteC in summerville, SC and see if you can drive there or if he's able to ship. based on his posts, knowledge, etc, i'd drive all the way over there and have him do the complete job.

Another one you can check out is PATC, have different levels of upgrade/prices.
While I dont actually have a trans from them, just printed out the Ramziilla part list (can buy kits also) & had my tranny guy build it up here (Cda)
