Won't the flexplate off my 318 work on the 360? I will take the whole truck then when it is done. Should be fun. Pick up engine tomorrow.

I don't think so, one motor balances with the plate and one with the harmonic balancer in front. I might be wrong so you need really investigate this one. Or maybe it's one motor is internally balanced and one is balanced with the external harmonic balancer. Sorry, this is the only part I don't remember for sure.

you are right I remember now, I knew the 360 needed the balancer the flexplates are different I am straight now on that.

I also got in a hurry and got it backwards my truck is a manual and needs a flywheel not flexplate
