i just installed some new lights. i mounted them on a piece of angle iron and welded it onto the bumper supports. here are some pictures of them and what happened to my sidesteps when they got ripped off, no damage to the body lucky for me.

Its funny I recall someone just asking you how those steps hold up and they were afraid to use them fearing they would get ripped off...
lights came out good...

i liked the steps a lot. and i would buy them again, its just youd need to take them off to do any serious offroading. 2 bolts per step and theyre off so its not that hard.

Atleast those steps are not really expensive. I ripped my bushwackers off and was pretty mad cause they were about 400+ for the set.

nice. you need to give those ground screws a shot of paint before they start rusting.
nice anvil too, you don't see that style too often.

you might like this one since you have that style of anvil.

Those lights look good there. Just one question, why didn't you use larger lamps?

thanks about the anvil. i do some blacksmithing as a hobby, i have a few of them around, but i dont think id ever consider launching them. those ground screws are for electrical boxes (im an electrician and i have them laying around) but i dont know if theyre galvanized or not. but ill throw some paint on it just in case. and as far as a larger lamp, everything ive seen at the price i paid were 55W and about the same size so i just grabbed those. eventually im going to get a bullbar and some 6" lamps. and ive been looking for a rollbar for it because i already have the holes cut in my bedliner for one from the previous owner
