i put in a tach myself took about 1and a half hours

my friend has a 99 ram 2500, 360 5spd, heres the kicker NO TACH, i was scratchin my head on that one...he got it brand new from the factory that way.

The tach was optional on ST models. All others came with a tach.

My S-10 doesnt have a tach, but I will be adding a factory one soon!

yea my 99 ram was a base model im talking manual everything minus the auto tranny and it had no tach just a big gas gauge i have pic and here it is lol it drove me nutts

YOu coul say the fuel gauge acts like a tach...The higher you go, the lower the fuel gauge goes.

I have the mopar performance computer on my '95 5.2 and it sets the rev limiter to something up over 6k... I haven't found it yet! But the bottom end of these motors can safely turn 6k, just let off it when the valves start floating.
