Default got a new bumpstick...

Came in the mail today from KRC via Comp Cams. All measurements are intake/exhaust installed at 106 intake center line:

Gross Valve Lift: .488/.488 with 1.7 rockers that's .518/.518
Duration at .006 Lift: 262/262
Duration at .050 Lift: 210/210
Lobe lift: .3050/.3050 <----------curious as to how this compares to stock lobe lift.
LSA: 110.0

Valve timing ......Open ............Close
at .050" Int: ..........1- BTDC .......31. ABDC
...........Exh: ......... 39 BBDC ........9- ATDC

cam lobe profile# 3300/3300

The specs appear to be similar to the 210X cam, but with a bit more lift, less exhaust duration (should help the 318 keep the low end a bit).

now if it would just warm up a bit, I can put this stuff in the truck.

Got an SCT and a Snap On MT2500.

I wouldn't have dared a LSA under 112 without a Tuning solution of some sort.

^good.

i'm getting over my head here, but will this work with stock injectors, or do you need bigger injectors ?

does the 1.7's amplify both the lift and duration ? you're not too big there are you.

will this produce the big idle lope. cause that's what we all want....

Sounds like a decent cam, should be fun
Think the stock lobe lift is around .260/.270 give or take .416/.432vl IIRC

Had our first snowstorm up here, wasnt too bad but there are lots more too come.

Injectors should be good to 450hp, but I will verify with hemifever to see if I need to go bigger.

The rockers only multiply lift, they do not effect duration, only the cam can really do that. I asked Marty to keep me far away from Piston to Valve kissing, and having to have the valve guides clearanced. I think he gave me about as much lift as he could within those specs with a small safety margin. The guides need to be clearanced right around .525 and the max lift for a flat topped 318 piston is right around .540. Lift is always a nice number to maximize provided your heads can support the flow, as there really isn't a trade off to putting more mix in the cylinder. It's totally independent of most of the other variables that are trade offs, but there's a hard and firm consequence for not staying within the parameters.

The LSA will probably make the idle pretty darn choppy, but it won't be funny-car-brink-of-stalling-out choppy.

Mopar performance lifters, MP valve springs good to .600 lift with hardened retainers and locks, felpro 1008 head gaskets, JP Performance timing set (wanted HD and adjustable by 2* from -8 to +8 for cam degreeing), got a new harmonic balancer as mine's looking crappy.

I was thinking about buying the Hughes racing valves and getting a 3 angle on the heads, not sure if I can afford that right now though. I'll clean up and casting flaws in the heads and do a bowl blend with a die grinder when I pull them.

I bought some MP porting templates for the Magnum heads, but I don't know how brave I am at porting after practicing on this dud head I have.
