just like the very few good women drivers there are out there, there are even less women that fix their own truck.

hey, there's one, size matters.

there was another a while back that had a transmission pan leak and something else going on that i can't remember. it was funny with her because she knew more than her boyfriend and she fixed her own truck the couple times it had problems without any useful help from him.

If a female can put air in the tires, figure out how to pop the hood and check the oil, I consider her a master female mechanic.
But all seriousness aside, some chicks are qualified to pick up a wrench ,, Or so I have heard.
Never met one in person.
But that shouldn't stop them from posting here hmmm, what can we do to attract more mechanically inclined babes ?

thats so easy to do! teach your women how to do things to their trucks! or vehicles. he started me with small things. alternator and brakes. then i helped him do a complete motor swap for a 85 ram charger. such a shame we couldnt get the title for not being paid now it sits with out drum set in it laughing at us. any ways, i was given a free car from a mechanic friend, a 91 ford festiva, ****ty thing. i traded it for a 2000 dodge ram 1500, crappy v6, and an 8 foot bed. i have a list of everything that we have ever done to this truck, in less than a month. every day i was out there with my husband doing some something. the engine blew. there is now a giant hole in the oil pan from where a rod SHOT out. that was a mess to clean up. we did it on purpose because we are going to put a v8 in her. now, when we got it, it didnt run. owned by a guy and his wife. he told me "after what she did to the truck, ill take the festiva because she doesnt deserve any thing nice" theres a giant dent on the drivers side from where she cut too close to something. 200,000 miles. on a 2000! they barely changed the oil. we tried before we gave up and said this motor wasnt worth it. we could not bring it back. thank god for little favors that my husband is a mechanic and has been so for 11 yrs. it makes it so mush cheaper lol. now you know my story.

my email is m.deponceau@yahoo.com if anyone has any tips or tricks for swapping motors.
