It's no big job. The hardest part for me was to break the rust apart, but a BFH did that just fine.
Also, don't spend the money on a new track bar if it's just the bushing or ball joint that is shot. Use a luke's link on the ball joint side and he will even sell you a new bushing for the other side. You mind as well do both since it will be out from the truck.

I havent swapped one personally, the last one I had Big-O tires do it for me and some other work at the same time. However, the new bar lasted a mear 15K miles.
I have one of these tracbars on its way to me now (should have shipped this morning). it is supposed to last a lot longer than the stocker.
