E3 plug question

i used E3 plugs, then i changed my plenum because the E3's were pretty much shot, and when i first changed to E3's i noticed a good difference, now that ive switched to the Mopar Chapions (from dealer) its the same, runs excellent, and i only paid 28 bucks for all 8 plugs, and it is the same as the E3's. When i originally went to E3's the plugs that were in it were shot, and thats how i felt the difference. but the Champions feel like the same thing.

I knew a guy who worked at a FLAPS who argued with me that all spark plugs come pre-gapped for the vehicle. He got really pissed when I told him that was bullshiat due to the many applications.

So, one day I challenged him and made him check the gaps on eight new plugs he bought for his vehicle.

Not one was gapped properly. His response: "Gee, the sales rep told us they come pre-gapped".

Always double-check. There are different styles of tools to check and adjust the gap.

ive heard good things about them from a few members on here so i decided to pick them up, i dont know if id me able to tell you how well they work though because im doing the plenum fix and adding MSD wires, so all around i expect the truck to run better

That's an easy one! just wait until your next oil change to install the plugs!!!

i just did an oil change 1000 miles ago, valvoline full synthetic 10w30, so i have a ways to go, i plan on doing the plenum and tune up within the next week or so, depends on how long it takes hughes to ship my plate, summit stuff should be here mon or tues

Except with the e3's you don't need to check the gap.

as stated you wont see no gain from running e3's split fires +4 +2 none the spark still only travels to one electrode thats it... i change plugs once a year every fall to insure i have good spark and the truck will start......

Good, I'm gonna spend $64 on spark plugs that I cant even gap. I think I'll keep paying $15 for a set of Champion RC12LC4s that do the same thing.

And for 95RAM360, you dont have to go to the dealer to get the same Champions your truck came with at the factory. YOu can get them at Advance Auto Parts.

Not true actually. The spark is bigger and covers the whole electrode.
