Default re-gearing my 98 1500

Currently i have a 5'' suspension lift and a 3'' body lift with 38.5x14.5 tires on my 98 ram 1500. I need to re gear the axles but i really don't know much about it. What ratio should I get and how much will it cost? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

well 4.88 gears would make the vehicle perform closest to stock (would be my choice)....4.56 or 4.88 would be your only options really.

5.13 is another option, but 4.88 sounds right.

call randys ring and pinion and you can find out exactly what its going to cost with gears, install kits and bearings. for my 4.10 gears with a new front carrier, master install kits for both axles and the side adjuster tool for the rear end its going to cost me 1000$.

thats wat i thougth. you would have to go to D60s front and back to go higher than 4.88. and that wouldnt be a bad idea since u have 38s on ur truck. the 44 and 9.25 dont like anything much bigger than 35s
