Engine stalls in reverse

the fluid didnt smell burnt did it?

The 46RH seems to have less problems than the 46RE for some reason.Mine went 368,000 before a small part failed and I had it rebuilt.Glad to hear it works right now.

whats the diff. between 46RH and 46RE? i thought they were the same tranny

Ok, so today I thought the prob was gone but It came back, It stalled again once I put it in reverse and moved back a few feet. Fluid level is right on with the trani.
Now I'm puzzled ???????????
