Default Engine stalls in reverse

Ok so my 94 1500 v8 5.9ltr has a little prob when I put it in to reverse it stalls. Now it doesn't do it any other time only in reverse. Any ideas why its happening?
Could it be plugs? Motor idles perfect in N .

Nop wasn't me that posted it. Also why would trani fluid have a effect on the motor running?

ok just wanted to know so i could take the other info into consideration...

theres more strain on the motor in reverse...almost double as in drive. so it would need alot of fluid, or it dumps into "limpmode" i believe. also too much tranny fluid will cause shifting problems as well...but to kick the motor down....i dont think fluid could do that

Will go out and check level, and maybe change spark plugs too.

So had a look at the fluid level and it's low, I'm changing the oil tomorrow and filter and will see how it goes from there.

So changed the oil and filter today and man was the oil dirty. Also there was traces of brass and metal in the pan and on the filter.
Now the truck seems fine in reverse with no stalling.
Another happy camper : )

Traces of metal is normal for one that has not been changed in a long time. How many miles are on it?

220,000 on the motor but I'm not sure on the trani as there's a aftermarket service sticker on the pan side.
Had a good drive tonight and gear changes were normal.
