well guys i haven't been on in a while thanks to work, So the other day i decide to take the dodge out of garage wash her up and go get gas. when i started up the truck a whole lot of smoke poured out the exhaust got out to look smelled like oil burning, thought it was kinda weird didn't do it when i parked it 2 months ago after doing all that work to the house just so i could fix the truck. checked the oil and it was fine checked inside the plenum for oil clean as a whistle. I think we are looking at the all to familar crack heads or bad valve seals Oh and compresion is good so dont think it is blow by

probably just valve seals dried out. run it a little and hope for the best.

I have been running it every night i get home now but still burning oil smell until it warms up the smoke goes away. I'm going to bet its a cracked head. trying to figure out how i am going to get the time to fix it. I am glad i dont drive it often. rite now it is back in the garage way in the back .

Sounds like old valve seals. It has been sitting for a while.
