After reading the overhead console, It made me think. I have a 94 1500 with no compass or temp. I have a 95 donor truck with a compass and temp. Can I take the console and wiring harness from the 95 and plug it in the 94 and have it work without running more wires? The temp sensor and the compass, I am assuming is the black thing on the roof of the cab near the 3rd brake light. The wires were disconnected when I got it, What does the wires from the black thing plug into if that is the sensor? i could not find anything on the console. If it is under the dash, were is it?

 

I am not sure if Dodge changed the location of the 1994 to the 2001 like mine. My 01 is under the dash behind the parking brake. hope that helps

 

I know the wiring harness is near the e-brake, is that were the black think on the roof plugs into too.
