well tomorrow (saturday) i am going with my gf's dad to take parts of a cummins his bud is junkin because it's not worth it to repaire it. its a 2000. i am already gettin the hitch off for my truck, is there anything else i should get? like idk what i should that i could use on my half ton. now the headlights n tail lights, fuel pump, vaccum thinger, water pump we are taking off for my gf b.c she is using our beater white truck and anything could go anyday. jw if there is anything someone might recomend to me. i might take the speakers n fog lights, if he has em. manual etc jack stuff.

 

Body Panels, gauge cluster (for when you get the infamous NO BUS error), Radio, stuff like that.

Hell, theres a ton of stuff you could get and just turn it around on craigslist. Ever see what tailgates go for? Ridiculous.

about the cummins engine... yeah its gone no hope for it. its got like a couple hundred thousand on it and it was used to hell. as far as the body i think he wants the scrap the metal, so ima leave him things i dont need or cant make a quick profit on. i want stuff for my truck. i might take the spare and sell it on craigslist. easy $25. i think it has the flip up tow mirrors. i know it would look stupid but i might put em on mine for a while then sell em later lol. i cant take the guage cluster, its a diesel remember. If its a laramie leather ima definatly taking the seats, if i can. but then again idk how much he is willing to let me take.

 

take the turbo and the pipeing and the computer easy to sell to someone who needs them. you should check to see if there are any aftermarket parts ...

 

def get the mirrors, those things are sweet, would make passing/merging on the interstates mucho safer

 

**** id tell him take the whole thing to scrap and then find out how much they will give him then give him $10 more and take the whole damn truck and put it in the front yard and just take parts off when you need them lol

 

dont the cummins come stock with 3.92 or 4.10 gears? id grab those
