Default no brake lights!!

i installed a trailer plug on my 2000 ram 1500 today and noticed that i didn't have brake lights. My turn signals. hazards, and running lights all work. I checked all my fuses and relays, and even replaced the brake switch and it didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

start by unplugging the trailer plug and go back to square one of getting the brake lights on the truck to work. use a voltage tester to check for 12v at the fuse block, check the fuse, any relays?, and 12v at the brake light itself.

(i think) on our trucks the turn signals (and hazards) actually use the same wire and bulb as the turn signals, so if the hazards are working, then thats an indicator that the bulb and back end wiring is ok.

my explorer has 3 separate circuits coming to the rear light, and then the trailer plug is a fancy "combiner". i think our dodge's have the combiner tap somewhere up front. correct me if i'm wrong.
