Default 96 5.2 Headers - Flowtech Shorty or Stock?

I have a 96 Ram 5.2 with a intake, and flowmaster duals, would flowtech shorty headers give more power and sound than stock headers?

Yes they would, stock exhaust manifolds are designed to be as quiet as possible.

You might also want to shop around. PaceSetter makes some pretty good ones for Summit Racing I've heard. They're $150. I'm hopefully getting some soon.

i think it would be slightly noticable, but youd get a much better sounding exhaust

agreed....headers alone wont do much but if you do other upgrades like better flowing exhaust and intake and maybe a tuner/pcm reprogrammed then you will notice a nice improvement...

^ I want to know this too.

Also, different headers help your engine at different RPMs. They'll be like 1,500 to 3,000 or something along those lines. I think the headers will complement what you already have too.
