Some thing about the exhaust with dual 45* looks sweet.


have you figured out what muffler or glass pack your going with?

 

yeah. probably cherry bomb.
maybe thrush, cheaper of the two

edit: btw i like your angle and all with the tips, but im not a big fan of blunt tips. i like em to be parallel to the ground, 45*degrees, slant cut that looks like it would sever a leg off.

 

I heard a thrush on a 5.2l when I was looking, when I got mine done and I didn't like the sound really but thats just me.

 

well thats a 5.2l thats 1.3l more than i have. plus 2 more cylinders. for some reason, to me and apperently you, open exhausts on v8's isn't appealing, its loudn and arongant, im guessing to engine size. but open on a little v6 makes it sound tougher and more macho, without being bad and unappealing

 

lol. the tips on mine are cut at a 45* and it has a rolled edge. my buddy has the ones I think your talking about on his ram. and they look good.

 

not to say yours doesnt look good, thats just not my style

 

ah no problem man, everybody has there own tastes and its your truck do what you want.

 

hirschy, did you get your tubes from a kit, or did you have someone built yours? i will be doing the same thing, either a single in dual out flowfaster, or a y with twin glass packs and i want those conrner tips...
