Aucually, no it isnt an oxymoron. See, shoehorning a 5.3 in my little S-10 would make it have the same gas mileage as it does now. The stupid little 2.2 that is in it struggles to get 22 mpg and to get the truck moving. Considering how efficient the latest generation of GM V8s are, I could get the same mileage because of how efficient the LS motors are. The S-10 is a light truck, it doesnt take much to make it move (Which doesnt make sense because of the sac-less motor in it right now), so the V8 will not be using as much fuel to get the little truck moving as it would in its original placement, say a Suburban. I will probably end up using a 4.8 anyway.

Cant beleive you got rid or that truck after having it for no time at all. Seems alittle retarded to me. My god man, were you born with danglers? Are you a guy? If you answered yes. Then why the heck did you get rid of it and keep the s-10? JEEEBUS..Thats a nice truck. And with gears... You would have had my dream truck. Thats one beast right there. well i must be retarded or really f-n smart...im gonna go w/smart, no job's in the country, im luckly workin p/t makin just enough to pay some of my bill's, my other truck that i was gonna drive daily need's more work than i can affored at this time and the dodge needed just as much, ball joint's, bushings, wheel bearing's, body work, interior work, alignment, ect.. and as far as regreting it...i never will cause i dont get attached to many thing's and if i want another truck like that i'll get one when im ready...what;s wrong w/a s-10 if im driving everyday (in the city) to and from work n not in the country ( hill's,wood's,mud) needing a 4x4 truck...and the best thing about it i only pay $30.00 buck's week in fuel compared to $70+...if it's your dream truck that's pretty sad, but it is for sale $2,500 cash...let me know if interested.. O WAIT IM NO LONGER WELCOME HERE CAUSE I DIDNT DO WUT YOU WOULD HAVE DONE...LMAO

hmm, my dream truck....SAD? Nope, Thats a nice lifted 2nd gen right there. I love that ones stance. Its a LB. Those look really nice lifted. Its perfect in my eyes, You could have alot of fun in that truck. Nice for some rocky/muddy trails. Id love to have it but unfortunatly i dont have the $$ for it. It being around Christmas and all. And you should have thought about it more before doing it. Dont jump the gun next time, seriously. It would have been nice to have you on the 2nd gen board with that truck. Tell the owner about dodge forums. Tell him to join the 2nd gen force!

dont worry my feeling's wont get hurt...and you are right =, it is a nice truck and i love the 2nd gen dodge lifted and the single cab long bed is mean looking and my favorite...id also love to have it but i just could not afford it and if my silverado was road ready i never would have traded back. i planned on painting the dodge 2 tone grey and black w/black rims which deffently would have been a drool-over truck... it's sad cause he would sell the truck to me for $$2,200/max...only if i had the fund's...trust me it was not an easy decision..i had t think about it for a total of 2 weeks and it was one of the hardest decisions iv made in my wheelin-n-dealin hobby...it stressed me out to the max
