Default Overhead console comp
In a 95 1500 4x4, my overhead console display compass and temp, but when I hit the Comp button, all goes black.
Do a unplugged sensor will do that ?

eh, i went wheelin once and that whole unit doesnt work anymore, would like to know how to fix aswell.

Uh...... I'm pretty sure mine does the same thing, and then I press it again and it comes back on..... magic.....

The temp come back, but its not supposed to be mpg or something???

Nah, you only have MPG if it was equipped. Wasn't standard by any means. I want to say that 1998 and up had them, but I may be wrong on that as well.

Nope, 99+. My 98 doesn't have it, only compass and temperature.

So if I'm right, the Comp button will turn off the display if I don't have the mpg option ??
